You are being asked to sit quietly with a stranger. It is entirely reasonable to want to know who we are first.
Our trainers
Every preceptor listed on this site has been certified by Shri Ram Chandra Mission and verified by Heartfulness South Africa. We publish their city and the languages they speak. We never publish their personal telephone number, and messages reach them through us.
Meeting in person
First sittings happen in public or semi-public places such as a hall, a centre or a room somebody else can walk into. If a proposed meeting place makes you uncomfortable, say so and we will find another.
Women-only sittings
Several of our sittings are for women only, and they are marked as such. If there is not one near you and you would like one, tell us and we will try to arrange it.
Online
You may keep your camera off for as long as you like, including permanently. Nobody will ask you to turn it on.
Young people
Anyone under eighteen needs a parent or guardian's consent, and a parent or guardian is welcome to attend. We do not run sittings for children without an adult present.
Your information
We ask for your name, one way of contacting you, and your town. We do not ask for your identity number, your race or your date of birth, and we never will. We do not use advertising trackers on this site. You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you and we will do it without asking you why.
